Shake Up the Season: Snow Globes: Friday 12/11, 4-5pm

In this holiday workshop, young artists ages 6 and up will create their own personalized snow globes. Students will begin by drawing a small winter-inspired illustration to place inside their globe, then add glitter and use acrylic paint markers to decorate the exterior with their own designs. Each child will leave with a unique, handmade snow globe to enjoy or give as a special gift during the holiday season!

Meet the Teacher: Jess Smith

I am in my fourth year as an elementary art teacher, and one of my favorite parts of teaching is seeing children express themselves through art and watching their imaginations come to life. I love creating an environment where young artists feel free to explore, experiment, and find their own way through the creative process. Rather than directing every step, I enjoy supporting their ideas and giving them the space to develop their creativity and confidence. I typically teach after-school art classes, and I am excited to bring that same approach to a special holiday workshop where children can explore new ways to create and make something personal to enjoy or gift during the holiday season.
