SUMMARY:Shake Up the Season: Snow Globes: Friday 12/11\, 4-5pm
DESCRIPTION:In this holiday workshop\, young artists ages 6 and up will create their own personalized snow globes. Students will begin by drawing a small winter-inspired illustration to place inside their globe\, then add glitter and use acrylic paint markers to decorate the exterior with their own designs. Each child will leave with a unique\, handmade snow globe to enjoy or give as a special gift during the holiday season! \nMeet the Teacher: Jess Smith \nI am in my fourth year as an elementary art teacher\, and one of my favorite parts of teaching is seeing children express themselves through art and watching their imaginations come to life. I love creating an environment where young artists feel free to explore\, experiment\, and find their own way through the creative process. Rather than directing every step\, I enjoy supporting their ideas and giving them the space to develop their creativity and confidence. I typically teach after-school art classes\, and I am excited to bring that same approach to a special holiday workshop where children can explore new ways to create and make something personal to enjoy or gift during the holiday season.
