Anna Ladyzhenskaya
Location: Studio 2, Upstairs
Anna Ladyzhenskaya is an internationally known artist born in Moldova, an Eastern European nation, when it was still part of the former Soviet Union. She completed Art School there, earning her credentials in both the practice and the teaching of art, before getting her Master’s degree in Architecture. With over 30 years of experience in the art field, Anna works with all forms of media, from oils and pastels, to watercolor, acrylic and colored pencils. She creates works that are just as diverse as the materials she uses, ranging in areas of focus from landscape, to still life, to portraiture. Before moving to South Carolina last year, Anna was an active member of the Bay Area art community in Northern California. Anna Ladyzhenskaya has paintings in private collections in US and around the world and is currently a studio artist at Public Works Art Center.
