Which Studio Is Right for You?
Our two studio buildings were created with different types of creative practices in mind. While there is some overlap, each space has its own focus and community.

135 West Richardson: Artist Studios

These studios are for artists whose work centers on creating original works of art. Many of these artists exhibit in galleries, work on commissions, or build bodies of work over time. This building currently houses our exhibition galleries and art classrooms.

129 West Richardson: Artisan Studios

These studios are for makers who create handcrafted goods for sale. Many of these artists run small creative businesses and sell their work through markets, shops, galleries, online, or directly to customers.

Not Sure Which One Fits?

No problem! Some artists naturally fall somewhere in between.

When reviewing applications, we’ll look at the overall focus of your work, and how you plan to use the space. If you’re primarily creating original artwork for exhibition, the Artist Studios at 135 West Richardson will probably be the best fit. If you’re primarily making handcrafted products as part of a creative business, the Artisan Studios at 129 West Richardson are likely a better match.
