Thursday 5/14, 10:30am-1pm, “Disappearing 9-Patch” Quilt Workshop
The “Disappearing 9-Patch” is one of the most versatile patterns quilters can have in their arsenals. Magic happens when 9 simple squares sewn together, cut apart, & then resewn, and it’s easier than you’d think. We will make 1 block in class and see all of the ways it can be put together to make different designs.
Level: Beginner+ (knowledge of your own machine & the ability to sew 1 /4″” seam)
Materials: Sewing Machine, general sewing supplies (thread, machine needle, extra bobbin, stitch ripper, scissors, rotary cutter, mat, 6-1 /2 x 12-1 /2″” quilting ruler), nine 5″” squares (4 light, 4 medium, 1 dark), pattern & instructions provided by the instructor.
The “Disappearing 9-Patch” pattern may be purchased ahead of time at People, Places, and Quilts right next door!
