Tuesdays 10/7-28, 10-11:30am, 4 weeks: Sewing for Homeschoolers

4-Week Homeschool Sewing Session
This 1.5-hour weekly class is designed for beginners with little to no sewing experience and provides a well-rounded introduction to both hand and machine sewing.
Weeks 1–2: Students will start with hand stitching basics—learning the running stitch and whipstitch, how to properly thread a needle, and completing beginner-friendly projects to practice these skills.
Weeks 3–4: We’ll move to the sewing machine, covering the essentials—threading, identifying the parts of the machine, sewing straight lines, backstitching, and troubleshooting common issues. Students will apply their new skills through simple, confidence-building projects they can proudly take home.
All supplies and equipment are provided. Students will leave the course with completed projects, practical sewing knowledge, and a strong foundation to continue building their skills.
