Thursdays 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 6-7:30pm, Watercolor Painting for Beginners

Join teaching artist Cat Brantley of Sister Moon Studio for a fun, relaxed, beginner’s watercolor class. Over 3 weekly workshops, we will revisit classic watercolor techniques, experiment with new techniques, play with color theory and mixing colors, and apply simple drawing techniques to our compositions.
Themes include nature inspired botanical painting and florals, fruits and veggies, and mountainscapes. I will also weave in some abstract, relaxing, mindful painting techniques, plus great creative warm ups you can use at home. My goal is for you to leave not only with a few complete painted pieces to take home, but also plenty of creative inspiration and enough guidance for you to confidently create beyond this class.
All materials are included.
