SUMMARY:Throbbing Life — Miguel Milló
DESCRIPTION:Front Gallery Wall | January 20th – March 14th | Opening Reception: February 20th from 5:30pm – 8:30pm \nMiguel Milló \nBetween magic\, beauty and equality\, the images that Miguel Milló\, a\ncontemporary plastic artist\, offers us\, expose a logo that resides in Mother\nNature\, which is the faithful representative of the world and its humanity\,\nbeing the great organizer of the components of the Works of “Throbbing\nLife”\, as if these were the verses of photographed visual poetry\, full of color.\nSince his beginnings\, Miguel Milló has developed an extensive photographic\nseries around the figure of woman and the multiple human canvases that he\noffers through their bodies\, given his deep admiration for feminine aesthetics. offers\nIts object of representation is based on the beauty of these diverse anatomies\,\nfavoring the multiple readings that they provide thanks to their interaction with\nthe crackled chromatic muds that cover their skins and other organic\nmaterials\, such as fruits\, vegetables\, plants\, seeds\, flowers or powders. These\nornamental ideals are a dogma in the artist’s work\, since all the postulates are\nclosely related to the elements of nature.\nCreator of his own\, very personal universe\, and with a great poetic and visual\ncharge\, the artist transmits various messages through a timeless photographic\nlanguage\, which translates legacies from more classical artists\, such as\nGiuseppe Arcimboldo one of the figures of mannerism during renaissance\, to\nmore recent artists such as Anna Tokarska or Stelarc\, who also work with\norganic materials and with these human canvases. This language not only\ndilutes the time lines within the framework of its influences\, but also does the\nsame with the cultural barriers that can segregate human beings according to\ntheir features\, skin color or geographical origin.\nIts last claim is\, through the bodies of women\, create universal beings\, as a\ngiver of life\, permeating cultures and promoting a message of equality\nregardless of any social factor that may disintegrate them. He achieves this\nthanks to a random artistic elaboration\, consisting of the free will of the\nplacement of pigments and natural elements on living canvases\, but always\nwith an aesthetic and artistic sense. \n“Throbbing Life”\, therefore\, is an anthology series of all the human\ncanvases that this contemporary artists has been producing in recent\nyears\, and that value the aesthetics of female bodies\, under a halo of\nequality. These are immortalized\, then\, in their respective photographs.\nHe usually Works with large formats\, and always giving priority to color\nover dark backgrounds that allow the polychromos and materials that\napparel his human canvases to stand out. He always uses high definition\nphotography photography that allows you to distinguish even the smallest detail of his\nproductions.\nDefinitely\, Miguel Milló is not just any plastic artist. He has managed to\ncreate a very personal essence\, whose philosophy has been established\nthanks to these creations that he has been devising over the last decade.\nWith suggestive titles such as Lava (2014)\, Cacao (2018)\, or To hide my\npassion for you (2017)\, his images\, which present practically magical and\nuniversal beings\, directly connected with Mother Nature\, whispering the\nheartbeats of these living Works that indicate an hymn to love\, life\,\nbeauty and specially\, equality\, showing that there is a woman at the\nbeginning of all things.
